If your organization has a ServiceNow subscription that is integrated with EmpowerID, you can create and manage EmpowerID groups from ServiceNow.

Create EmpowerID groups in ServiceNow

  1. Log in to your ServiceNow instance, and in the navigation pane, under Self-Service,

    select 

    select Service Catalog, and click

    the

  2. In the list of services, click

    the 

    the EmpowerID Service Catalog Request.

  3. Enter a Group Description and a Group Name, and

    click 

    click Order Now.

  4. An Order Status message appears with details about your request. If you expand the Stage field, you can see that the request is waiting for approval by the System Administrator.

  5. In the navigation pane, under Self-Service,

    select 

    select My Approvals, and click the first approval. (You can hover over the info button to see details and ensure that you have the correct one.)

  6. On the Approval form, change

    the State to Approved and click the 

    the State to Approved and click the Approve button.

  7. To see the group you created in EmpowerID,

    expand 

    expand Identities on the navbar,

     select 

     select Groups, and then search for the group. Note that groups created in ServiceNow have GUIDs for their logon names.
