EmpowerID is licensed in a modular fashion for both its on-prem and SaaS deployment options. Most modules are licensed per non-deleted managed human person, with some modules being licensed per Admin Person or by Managed Server. The per non-deleted human person license model allows a customer to have more user accounts managed by the system that than Person objects. Each person may be the owner of many user accounts, and some user accounts will not require a person object and are managed simply as technical directory objects.
