EmpowerID provides a central location called the "IT Shop" from which users can request access to the roles, licenses, and other resources your organization makes available. To request resources (known as “Business Requests”), users navigate to the IT Shop, where they can see their current business access and shop for more. Once they have located a the desired resource that they are eligible to receive, they simply add it to their shopping cart and when ready submit the items in the cart for approvaltheir request. If users are not ready to submit their request, they can navigate away from the IT Shop with without losing the contents of their cart.
Figure 1 below show shows the main flow that occurs for users shopping for resources in the IT Shop.
