After creating the Azure claims mapping policy, it should be added to the Azure application. These policies are reusable and can be assigned to multiple applications. EmpowerID offers a user-friendly wizard interface, “ManageAzureAppWizard, “ which helps you to assign the mapping policy to an app.

To There are multiple ways to add a claims policy to an Azure app, there are two ways to start the wizard.

  1. Add claims mapping policies from Application details.

  2. Add claims mapping policies from the Claims Mapping details.

Add Claims Mapping Polices from Application Details

  1. Navigate to the portal for the Resource Admin app in your environment.

  2. Please choose Applications from the Resource Type menu.

  3. To search for a specific application, simply provide its name in the search bar and press enter. You can use the filtering options in the filter sidebar to narrow the search, such as selecting only Azure applications.

  4. Click the Friendly Name link or Details buttonfor the application.

    This directs you to the Overview page for the application, which shows you various details about the app.

  5. Click Token Configurations and then expand the Actions accordion.

  6. Click the Create Claims Mapping Policy action.

  7. This opens the Create Azure Claims Mapping Policy wizard workflow. You can follow the detailed instructions /wiki/spaces/EIDUG23/pages/3121545251to create Azure claims mapping policies.
