In order for users to shop for resources, those resources must first be published to the IT Shop. Resource owners and other administrative users can do this at any time by setting thethe Allow Access Requests property ( or Allow Join Group Requests for Groups)  property to true on those resources for which they have the delegations to do so. (Conversely, resources can be removed

Remove resources from the IT Shop by setting thethe Allow Access Requests  or Allow Join Group Requests property to false. ) This topic demonstrates this by showing how to publish resources the following resource types to the IT Shop for the following resource types::

To publish Management Roles to the IT Shop

  1. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to Management Role Management page by expanding expand Identities and clicking click Management Roles.
  2. From the Management Role management page, search for the Management Role you want to publish and then click the record for that role it to display a list of contextual actions that can be executed against it.
  3. Click the Edit action link.
  4. From the Edit page, tick select Allow Access Requests so that the option is selected and click and click Save.
  5. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to the IT Shop by expanding expand IT Shop and clicking click Find Resources.
  6. In the IT Shop, search for the Management Role you just published.

To publish Exchange mailboxes to the IT Shop

  1. Log in to the EmpowerID Web application as an administrator or resource owner for the mailbox you want to publish.
  2. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to the Mailbox Management page by expanding expand Resources and clicking click Mailboxes.
  3. Search for the mailbox you want to publish and then click the record for that mailbox it to display a list of contextual actions that can be executed against it.
  4. Click the Edit action link.
  5. Click the Mailbox Settings tab and tick Allow Access Requests so that the option is selected.
  6. Click Save.
  7. After EmpowerID processes the operation, navigate to the IT Shop by expanding  in the Navigation Sidebar, expand IT Shop and clicking click Find Resources in the Navigation Sidebar.
  8. In the IT Shop, search for the mailbox you just published . You should to see a record for that mailbox.

To publish groups to the IT Shop

  1. Log in to the EmpowerID Web application as an administrator or resource owner for the group you want to publish.
  2. From the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to Group Management page by expanding expand Identities and clicking click Groups.
  3. From the Group management page, search for the group you want to publish and click the record for that group it to display a list of contextual actions that can be executed against it.
  4. Click the Edit action link.
  5. Tick Allow Join Group Requests so that the option is selected.
  6. Click Save.
  7. After EmpowerID processes the operation, navigate to the IT Shop by expanding  in the Navigation Sidebar, expand IT Shop and clicking click Find Resources in the Navigation Sidebar.
  8. In the IT Shop, search for the group you just published . You should to see a record for that group.

To publish shared folders to the IT Shop

  1. Log in to the EmpowerID Web application as an administrator or resource owner for the shared folder you want to publish.
  2. From the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to Shared Folder Management page by expanding expand Resources and clicking click Shared Folders.
  3. From the Shared Folder Management page, search for the shared folder you want to publish, click the drop-down arrow beside the record for that folder, and then click Edit.
  4. Tick Select Allow Access Requests so that the option is selected.
  5. Click Save.
  6. After EmpowerID processes the operation, navigate to the IT Shop by expanding in the Navigation Sidebar, expand IT Shop and clicking click Find Resources in the Navigation Sidebar.
  7. In the IT Shop, search for the shared folder you just published . You should to see a record for that folder.

To publish applications to the IT Shop

  1. Log in to the EmpowerID Web application as an administrator or resource owner for the application you want to publish.
  2. From the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to Application Management page by expanding expand Applications and clicking click Manage Applications.
  3. Search for the application you want to publish and then click the record for that application it to display a list of contextual actions that can be executed against it.
  4. Click the Edit action link.
  5. Tick Select Allow Access Requests so that the option is selected.Click and click Add to Cart.
  6. Click the cart at the top of the page.
  7. In the My Cart dialog that appears, type a reason for the change and then click Submit.
  8. After EmpowerID processes the operation, navigate to the IT Shop page for applications by clicking Request Access underneath Applications in the Navigation Sidebar, expand Applications and click Request Access.
  9. In the IT Shop, search for the application you just published . You should to see a record for that application.

To publish assets to the IT Shop

  1. Log in to the EmpowerID Web application as an administrator or resource owner for the asset you want to publish.
  2. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to the Asset Management page by expanding expand Resources and clicking click Assets.
  3. From the All Assets tab of the Asset Management page, search for the asset you want to publish, click the drop-down arrow beside the record for that asset, and then click Edit.
  4. Tick Select Allow Access Requests so that the option is selected.Click  and click Save.
  5. After EmpowerID processes the operation, navigate to the IT Shop by expanding in the Navigation Sidebar, expand IT Shop and clicking click Find Resources in the Navigation Sidebar.
  6. In the IT Shop, search for the asset you just published . You should to see a record for that assetit.
