Cloning a Management Role allows you to use the operations associated with the cloned Management Role as a starting point for building a new Management Role. When you clone an a Management Role, you create an exact copy of that Management Roleit, with all the delegations of that role being passed to the cloneof its delegations. Once you have created the clone, you can tailor it to meet your specific needs by adding or removing delegations as needed.

To clone a Management Role

1. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to the Management Role management page by expanding expand Identities and clicking click Management Roles.
2. Search for the Management Role you want to clone and then click the record for that role to display a list of contextual actions that can be applied against itfor the role.
3. From the Actions pane, click the Clone Management Role action.
   
   In the following image, the Locations pane has been collapsed to conserve screen real estate.

4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to clone the Management Role and then click OK to close the Operation Execution Summary.

To verify the clone

1. From In the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to Change Manager by expanding expand Compliance and Reports and clicking click Audit Log.
2. From On the Audit Log tab of Change Manager, type Clone to <Name of the Management Role you Cloned> in the Search field and press ENTER.
   
   A record for the cloned Management Role appears in the grid.
