Examples of these tasks include creating purchase orders, modifying group memberships, and editing user attributes. EmpowerID refers to these activities as "Functions," which are business-defined actions performed within one or more applications. Functions are objects created by organizations to represent user activities in IT systems using everyday business terminology. Once these tasks are defined, it is crucial to create corresponding Functions in EmpowerID and map them to the technical system and roles associated with executing these actions.

Procedure
On the navbar, expand Compliance and click Risk Management.
On the Risk Management page, select the Go to the Global Functions tab and then click the Add button.
This action opens the “Create Global Function” form.
