If When a person user attempts to log in to EmpowerID but and repeatedly types enters the wrong password within the length of time timeframe specified in by the applied Password Manager policy that is applied to that person, EmpowerID will lock that person the user out of EmpowerID for the duration defined by the policy. Once that occurs the person will not be able to log in during the lockout period – even if they subsequently submit During this lockout period, the user cannot log in, even if they later enter the correct password. When If this is the caseoccurs, you can unlock that personthe user's Person account by following the procedure outlined below.

Procedure

  1. On the navbar, expand Identity Administration and select Dashboard.

  2. From the Identity Admin dashboard, enter the name of the locked-out person in the Person to Unlock field on the Unlock Person and Accounts widget and click the tile for that person.
