Evaluating a Query Based Collection executes the query in each of the Sets belonging to the Collection. These evaluations are dynamic, adding and removing objects from the Collection as determined by the Sets. For example, if you have a Query-Based Collection with a Set that returns all people hired within the last week, the people in the Collection vary from week to week.

Evaluate a Query Based Collection

1. In

   On the

   navigation sidebar

   navbar, expand Role Management and

   click 

   select the Actions tab.

2. Click Evaluate Query-Based

   Collections

   Collection (

   SetGroups

   SetGroup).
   

   On the Query-Based Collections tab, search Image Added

3. Search for the Query-Based Collection you want to evaluate

   .In the grid,

   and click the

   drop-down arrow for the selected Collection and click Evaluate Query-Based Collection (SetGroup).

   Click

   record for that collection to select it.

4. Click Submit and then click OK to close the Operation Execution Summary

   screen

   Back in the grid, click the Display Name link for the Query Based Collection.

   This directs you to the ViewOne page for the Query Based Collection. ViewOne pages allow you to view and manage the objects to which they belong.

   Expand the People in Query-Based Collection accordion.
   You should see all people in the collection.
