If an eligible assignee for a license bundle should no longer have a license specified by the bundle, you can remove that eligible assignee from the bundle. The next time the bundle is processed, licenses previously granted to users who were once eligible assignees will be revoked from those users due to eligibility for the license being removed from the bundle.

Responsible Parties are the people in your organization who are responsible for managing license bundles. They become the owners of those bundles.

To assign Responsible Parties to license bundles, you need to have one of the following Management Roles:

  • License Admin for All Pools and Bundles

  • License Manager for All Bundles

Assign responsible parties to license bundles

  1. On the navbar, expand Azure License Manager and select Manage Assignments.

  2. Select the License Bundles tab and search for license bundle to which you want to add the exclusion rule.

  3. Click the License Bundle link for the target bundle.

     

  4. On the Assignments tab From the License Info panel of the License Bundle Details page, click the Eligible License Assignees accordion to expand it and locate the eligible assignee you want to remove.

  5. Click the Remove Assignment icon beside the assignee.

  6. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the assignment.
