The SharePoint Online connector is a microservice that can be deployed to Azure to allow EmpowerID to manage SharePoint Online. The microservice can be deployed in both EmpowerID SaaS and self-hosted environments. If self-hosting EmpowerID, an Azure tenant must first be configured as outlined in the Configuration of SharePoint Online Inventory - Not Applicable if using EmpowerID SaaS topic. If using EmpowerID SaaS, follow the steps under SaaS Deployment of the SharePoint Online Microservice.
