When you connect EmpowerID to an external user directory, it creates an account store object for that directory in its Identity Warehouse, copying all relevant user and group data in that directory to a corresponding table in the Identity Warehouse, where it can be synchronized and managed according to your policies. This allows you to create, edit and delete new user and group objects, as well as administrate the access associated with each by managing those objects in EmpowerID. The topics in this section show you how to get started.
