Integrating Password Manager with Microsoft Outlook Web App for Exchange 2013

  1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. In the Connections pane on the left hand side, expand the Server node, expand the Default Web Site, expand owa. Right click the auth folder and click Explore.

  1. Open logon.aspx in a text editor of your choice. Locate the following section (line 156):

<div class="showPasswordCheck checkboxLabel"><input type="checkbox" id="showPasswordCheck" class="chk" onclick="showPasswordClick()" /><%=LocalizedStrings.GetHtmlEncoded(Strings.IDs.ShowPassword)%></div>
<% if (ShowPublicPrivateSelection) { %>

Please modify this section to read as follows, inserting the HTML directly below the GetHtmlEncoded(Strings.IDs.ShowPassword) line. Please replace FQDN with the fully qualified domain name of the EmpowerID server(s):

<div class="showPasswordCheck checkboxLabel"><input type="checkbox" id="showPasswordCheck" class="chk" onclick="showPasswordClick()" /><%=LocalizedStrings.GetHtmlEncoded(Strings.IDs.ShowPassword)%></div>
<!--BEGIN EmpowerID Password Manager Link-->
<div class="signInInputLabel" style="font-size:14px;">
<a style="text-decoration:none;color:#0072c6;" href="https://FQDN/EmpowerIDV5/RecoveryCenter" target="_blank">Forgot Password?</a>
</div>
<!--END EmpowerID Password Manager Link-->
<% if (ShowPublicPrivateSelection) { %>

  1. Verify that the Forgot Password link shows in Outlook Web App and works properly when clicked.
