Delete Shared Folders

When shared folders are no longer needed, you can delete them directly from EmpowerID. Deleting a shared folder in EmpowerID removes it from the EmpowerID system and the underlying file server. This action is permanent and should be performed cautiously, as it results in the complete removal of the folder and all its contents from the server.

Procedure

  1. On the navbar, expand Object Administration and click Shared folders.

  2. Select the Actions tab on the Shared Folders page and then click Delete Shared Folder.

     

  3. In the Shared Folders lookup that appears, search for the shared folder you want to delete and check the box for that record to select it.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Click Yes to confirm you want to delete the folder.

  6. Click OK to close the Operation Execution Summary.
