Setting the Account Store Type on Account Stores

The Account Store Type setting can filter the groups that appear to users shopping for groups in the IAM Shop. When users select an Account Store Type from the Target System pane, only groups belonging to account stores with the selected Account Store Type appear in the shopping grid.

Procedure

To set the Account Store Type for an account store, do the following:

  1. From the navbar, expand Admin > Applications and Directories and click Account Stores and Systems to navigate to the Find page for Account Stores and Systems.

  2. Select the Account Stores tab, search for the account store on which you want to set the Account Store Usage Type, and click the Account Store link.


    This directs you to the View One page for the account store. View One pages are designed to facilitate the viewing and managing of the corresponding objects in EmpowerID.

     

  3. Click the Edit link on the View One page to put the account store in edit mode.

     

  4. From the Settings tab, select the desired type from the Account Store Type dropdown.

     

  5. Save your changes.
