Modify View One Page Attributes
Most resource object in EmpowerID has a View One page associated with it that allows users with the appropriate access to view information about that particular resource. For example, all Person objects have a View One page that displays information about the Person to whom the page pertains.
Â
As can be seen, View One pages contain tabs, panels and accordions that display information about the object. Depending on your organization, you may want to customize the amount of information available on these pages. For example, if you don’t want to show the information in the General, Advanced, Extension Attributes or Custom Attributes accordions, you can easily remove them so that the page looks like that shown below.
Â
To achieve this, you can quickly reconfigure these pages on the ViewOneAttributeSettings page, shown below. Please note that when doing so, you are making global changes that affect all users of the application. Any changes made can easily be reverted back to the default settings.
Â
How to modify View One pages
In the below procedure, we demonstrate how to remove the General, Advanced, Extension Attributes and Custom Attributes accordions from the Person View One page.
On the navbar, expand Admin > Miscellaneous, and select View One Page Attributes.
In the Person ViewOne Page section, deselect Page-PersonDetails-ManageTab-ShowRow3 and Page-PersonDetails-ManageTab-ShowRow4 and then save your changes.
Â
Navigate to the View One page for any Person. You should see the page reflect the changes you made.
Beyond removing accordions, you can add and remove individual attributes from any accordion as needed. For example, if you only want to show the Telephone attribute in the Contact accordion, you remove the other attributes so that it looks like the below example.
Please note that if you add attributes to a section, the names of those attributes must match existing EmpowerID RBAC Object attributes for that object type.
