When users log in to MyIdentity, they can see the pages and controls to which their roles grant them access. In the below image, the logged in user has full access to the application and can see all pages and controls.

In MyIdentity users can view relative information about themselves and their organization, as well as perform the following tasks:

  • View and edit their profiles

  • Modify the number and type of email notifications they receive

  • Set their Exchange Online Out of Office Status

  • Create permanent delegations to route approval tasks generated for them to other people

The MyIdentity application includes the following controls. Depending on their access to MyIdentity, not all users will see all controls.

  • Navigation Sidebar – Allows users to seamlessly navigate from MyIdentity to other EmpowerID applications

  • White Pages – Provides users with a single location for viewing their identity information and that of others in the organization. White pages contain the following tabbed views:

    • My Identities – Provides a view all the user’s person identities

    • All People – Provides a view of all people in the organization

    • My Direct Reports – View of the current user’s direct reports

    • My Department – View of people belonging to the same department as the current user

    • Internals – View of all people within the organization

    • Externals – View of all people outside of the organization, such as partners and customers

  • Permanent Delegations page – Provides users with the ability to permanently delegate tasks for which they are an approver to other people for approval. Delegated tasks, as well as those delegated to the person by another, can be viewed. Delegations created by the user can be edited and deleted from this page as needed.

  • Workflows – Provides access to workflows the current user is authorized to run

  • Email Notifications – Provides users with the ability to selectively pick the email notifications they receive, change the frequency of those emails, or chose to not receive email notifications.

  • View Profile – Displays profile information and organizational about the current user, allowing them to edit that information as needed.
