In EmpowerID, business requests submitted by users are directed to managers, resource owners, or those delegated with the authority to respond. This generates a task requiring your action. As a delegated responder, you have the capability to approve or reject business requests or delegate the decision-making to another authorized individual within your organization, ensuring a streamlined and efficient approval process.

Respond to business requests

  1. Navigate to the My Tasks App portal for your organization.

  2. In My Tasks, select To Do from the dropdown menu and search for the request you want to respond to.

  3. Click the Pending Item link.


    This opens the Card view for the task. From here, you can view details about the pending request and perform tasks, including:
    (tick) View general information about the task, including where the task is in the approval process and functional access that would be granted if approved
    (tick) View any potential functional access that would be granted by the request
    (tick) View any current delegations associated with the request and delegate the approval to other people
    (tick) View any potential risk violations that would occur if the request is approved
    (tick) Approve the request
    (tick) Reject the request
