Version 1

Access Levels in EmpowerID enable efficient granting of access to IT resources for users. They bundle together EmpowerID Operations and native system rights for specific resource types, such as Exchange mailboxes or user accounts.

Each resource type comes with its own set of predefined Access Levels, which feature different combinations of EmpowerID operations and rights. The levels of access range from simply viewing a resource in EmpowerID to provisioning and deprovisioning resources in native systems. You can control the extent of access by configuring the Access Levels and setting the scope of the assignment.

EmpowerID offers an extensive library of preconfigured Access Levels for most common resource types and delegation scenarios, allowing you to utilize them right out of the box. Additionally, you have the flexibility to create custom Access Levels to suit your organization's unique needs.
