MyIdentity is a microservice hosted in IIS or Azure that allows users to view and manage their profiles and other identity information relative to their person. Microservices are small, decoupled software modules that run independently and communicate with each other using specific API contracts. The MyIdentity microservice follows this pattern. The deployment model for Azure hosting is depicted in Figure 1 below.
