Add Operations to Access Level Definitions

Adding operations to Access Levels grants EmpowerID users assigned the Access Level the ability to perform those operations against a target resource within an EmpowerID workflow or custom application.

Add Operations to Access Level Definitions

  1. On the navbar, expand Admin > RBAC Definitions and click RBAC Access Levels.

  2. From the Search tab of the Access Level page, click the Resource Type drop-down and select a specific resource type, such as Exchange Mailbox. Doing so filters the Access Levels that appear in the grid by the selected resource type.

  3. Locate the Access Level to which you want to add Operations and click the Display Name link for it in the grid. This directs you to the View page for the Access Level Definition. View pages allow you to view and manage the resources to which they pertain.

  4. From the View page, click the Operations Authorized by Access Level accordion to expand it.

  5. In the expanded Operations Authorized by Access Level accordion, click the Add New button above the grid.

  6. Enter the name of the EmpowerID Operation you want to add to the Access Level in the Enter Operation field and then click the tile for that operation.

  7. Repeat, adding as many operations to the Access Level as you need.

  8. When you have finished adding operations, click Save.
