Setting the Usage Type for a Location
On the navbar of the EmpowerID Web interface, expand Role Management and click Business Roles and Locations.
Select the Locations tab, search for the location for which you want to set the Usage Type, and then click the Display Name link for it.
On the Location Details page that appears, click the Edit link to put the location in Edit mode.
Image AddedOn the General tab of the edit page, set the Usage Type to the appropriate value.

Click Save.
Directly Assigning Business Roles to Locations
On the navbar of the EmpowerID Web interface, expand Role Management and click Business Roles and Locations.
Select the Business Roles tab, search for the Business Role you want to directly assign to a location, and then click the Display Name link for it.

This opens the View One page for the Business Role. View One pages are designed to facilitate the viewing and management of the corresponding objects in EmpowerID.Click the Edit link under Direct Assigned Locations in the Advanced accordion of the View One page.

Click the Select a Location link and In the tree that appears, search for and select the desired location and then click Save to close the tree. If you want the Business Domain for the Business Role to appear to users in the
IAM Shop, be sure the location has the correct Usage Type for Business Roles.
If needed, click the Edit link again and repeat step 4 to assign the Business Role to another location.
When finished assigning locations, click Save on the main page.

On the navbar of the EmpowerID Web interface, expand Identity Administration and click Groups.
Select the All Groups tab, search for the group you want to directly assign to a location, and then click the Logon Name link for it.

click the Edit link under Direct Assigned Locations.
