(lightbulb) Before You Begin

Please ensure that the chatbot has been deployed, configured, and available via the Teams app store. Kindly note that this app is not generally available and must be deployed by the organization in order for it to appear and be installed for use.

Microsoft Teams Installation

You can easily install the Chatbot add apps to Microsoft Teams from the apps catalog of Microsoft Teams, just like any other app.

Administrators must upload and configure the Chatbot for you or your organization in teams before anyone can install it.

Follow the instructions below to install the bot in Microsoft Teams on web, desktop, or mobile versions.

  1. Launch Microsoft Teams either from your browser or desktop application.

  2. In Teams, click the Apps tab in the left sidebar to open the Apps catalog.

  3. Under the Apps tab, click choose the Built for your org category. You should see Look for the EmpowerID Botflow within the list of apps.

  4. Click on the EmpowerID Botflow item to view a detailed screen with information about appsthe app.

  5. Click on the 🔽 arrow to see the reveal customized installation options, or directly click on Add directly.

  6. Access the bot Once you have installed the Chatbot, you can access it by clicking on the chat Chat tab or directly by typing @botflow in the chat or conversations.
