This tutorial shows how to install the EmpowerID Chatbot for yourself, and access it.
Before You Begin
Please ensure that the chatbot has been deployed, configured, and available via the Teams app store. Kindly note that this app is not generally available and must be deployed by the organization in order for it to appear and be installed for use.
Microsoft Teams Installation
You can add apps to Microsoft Teams from the apps catalog, just like any other app. Follow the instructions below to install the bot in Microsoft Teams on web, desktop, or mobile versions.
Launch Microsoft Teams either from your browser or desktop application.
In Teams, click the Apps tab in the left sidebar to open the Apps catalog.
Under the Apps tab, choose the Built for your org category. Look for the EmpowerID Botflow within the list of apps.
Click on the EmpowerID Botflow item to view detailed information about the app.
Click on the 🔽 arrow to reveal customized installation options, or click Add directly.
Once you have installed the Chatbot, you can access it by clicking on the Chat tab or by typing @botflow in the chat or conversations. However, please note that if you wish to communicate with the Chatbot in a Teams channel, you will need to initiate the conversation by typing @botflow.
