PBAC resource types are fundamental elements that categorize the various resources within a PBAC-enabled application. These types can encompass a wide range of resources, like pages, lists, controls, database tables, etc. Establishing PBAC resource types is a critical initial step in securing access to your application’s resources in EmpowerID. Once configured, you can proceed to assign your application's resources to these defined types, facilitating the creation of App Rights, Role Definitions, and App Management Roles. This structure is essential for granting users the appropriate access levels to these resources.

Procedure

  1. In Resource Admin, search for the application to which you want to create one or more app rights and click the Details button for the app record.
