EmpowerID components are structured as microservices, which are deployed within Docker Containers hosted on the Azure Kubernetes Service. To evenly distribute the workload, load balancers are employed across two availability zones. The Identity Warehouse, serving as the database, utilizes three active Geo-Replications for replication. For seamless communication between on-premise systems and the EmpowerID SaaS tenant, the lightweight EmpowerID Cloud Gateway Windows application is employed.
