System administrators can restore user accounts that have been deleted from EmpowerID, allowing them to reactivate access for users who need to return to the system. This article demonstrates the steps to restore a single or multiple user accounts simultaneously.

Before you begin, ensure you have administrative access to EmpowerID. After completing these steps, the restored accounts will be fully operational. See Granting Access to User Accounts and Groupsfor the needed access.

Procedure

  1. On the navbar, expand Identity Administration and click User Accounts.

  2. Select the Deleted Accounts tab and then select the Restore Deleted Account action.

  3. Search for the deleted user account you want to restore, and then check the box beside the record.

  4. Repeat step 3 for each deleted user account you want to restore.

  5. When ready, click Submit.

  6. Click Submit to close the Operation Execution Summary.

Note: Before submitting your changes, you can remove one or more selected user accounts by clicking the Selected icon and then clicking the Remove button beside the accounts you want to remove, as shown in the below image.
