SAP VM Access Guide

This document provides connection details and access steps for virtual machines (VMs) using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

 Access Instructions (RDP)

  1. To access these machines, users must activate the SAP-Developers PIM group in the appropriate tenant using their email address

  2. In the Remote Desktop Connection window, enter the VM Computer Name or IP address (e.g., sap-dev-vm-2.thedotnetfactory.internal or 10.15.0.11).

  3. Click Connect.

  4. When prompted, click More choices / More options, then select Use a different account.

  5. Enter your email address and password (or the provided credentials).

  6. Click OK to log in.

Multi Instance Set Up

This VM is configured for the SAP, which includes multiple instances.
Each instance can be accessed using the URLs below:

  1. https://dev-sap.localhost

  2. https://dev-sap2.localhost

Migration Notice

All users are required to complete the migration of their work to the new VMs by next Friday.
The existing Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs) will be turned off on that day.
