Job Failure Threshold Notification Settings

EmpowerID has two system settings that control the threshold the system uses for sending email notifications of job failures. These settings include the following:

  • JobFailureNotificationThresholdIntervalInMinutes – Used to specify the time interval in minutes to keep track of job failures for the purpose of notification

  • JobFailureNotificationThresholdNumberOfFailures – Used to specify the number of job failures that need to occur within the threshold interval for the system to send notifications

The above settings work together to determine the frequency by which the system sends job failure notifications. For example, if the JobFailureNotificationThresholdIntervalInMinutes setting is 300 and the JobFailureNotificationThresholdNumberOfFailures setting is 4, EmpowerID will send an email notification when a job fails 4 times within a 300-minute span. You can adjust these settings to increase or decrease the number of failures that need to occur within any given interval in minutes.

To access these settings, you need to have the SaaS All Admin Management Role.
