Provisioning Policies (Birthright Access)

EmpowerID utilizes Provisioning policies, also known as Resource Entitlement Policies (RETS), to manage the allocation of resources such as Active Directory accounts, Exchange mailboxes, and Home folders for employees. These policies enable administrators to automate the provisioning, movement, deactivation, and de-provisioning of resources and are evaluated whenever an EmpowerID Person is created or assigned to a Business Role and Location, Management Role, group, or Query-Based Collection. By implementing these policies, organizations can automatically modify resource allocations in response to changes in any of these assignment categories, making the provisioning process more efficient.
