Enhancements

View Component Optimization for Requested Columns

We have optimized legacy component views to return only requested columns when using custom methods, reducing unnecessary data processing and improving API performance. When a method specifies a list of columns, only those fields are returned with data, while others remain null. This enhancement reduces API load times, optimizes resource consumption, and improves scalability for large data retrieval scenarios.

Framework Upgrade for Microservices

  • We upgraded the microservices framework from .NET 6.0 to .NET 8.0. This upgrade was necessary because support for .NET 6.0 will end support on November 12, 2024. In addition to updating the microservices code, this change requires infrastructure updates, including upgrading container images to use .NET 8 as the base image.

 

Resolved Issues

SAP Account Valid-Until Date Issue: We fixed an issue on the Edit Account page where it was not possible to manually set the ValidUntil field to the date 9999-12-31. This fix ensures that the field now accepts the maximum allowable date as expected.
