Emergency Termination

Emergency termination is an unplanned leaver process that has to take immediate effect. You can accomplish this manually by running the DeleteMultiplePeopleWithOptions workflow against the person(s) to be terminated.

In an emergency termination situation, you are presented with three options for handling the user accounts owned by the person(s) targeted for termination.

  • Delete All Accounts – If selected, all accounts linked to the person(s) will be deleted from both EmpowerID and their external systems of origin.

  • Orphan All Accounts – If selected, any accounts linked to the person(s) will not be deleted. In EmpowerID, The accounts will be marked as not belonging to a Person.

  • Allow Policies to Handle Accounts – If selected, all accounts linked to the Person will be handled in the manner specified by RET policies.
