Connecting to External Systems Exercise

In this exercise you will need to install a cloud gateway in your on-prem environment and create working connectors to the systems specified in the exercise below.

Enterprise Directory Connections:

• Install the cloud gateway in your on-prem environment

• Connect to an on-prem Active Directory

• Inventory the AD and view the containers, accounts, and groups in EmpowerID

• Install the Azure SCIM microservice in an Azure Tenant

• Configure the Azure SCIM connector and connect to the tenant

• Inventory the AzureAD and view the accounts and groups

Other System Connectors

• Create a universal flat file connector for an HR flat file feed

• Inventory the flat file and view the accounts and groups in the system

• Create a tracking only account store

• Add some accounts and groups through the UI and view the accounts and groups for the account store
