As part of your organization's approval policies, you may occasionally be assigned as an approver for Business Requests with approval workflows attached to them. These requests require you to execute an approval workflow, typically presented in the form of a user decision form. This form provides a summary of the request and offers options to either approve or reject it.

An example of this process can be seen in the image below, which illustrates an approval workflow for a request to onboard a new person. As an appointed approver, you hold the authority to review the provided information and decide to either approve or reject the request based on the details presented.

Procedure

To respond to requests with approval workflows, do the following:

  1. In My Tasks, select To Do from the dropdown menu, search for the request you want to respond to, and click the Pending button.

  2. Click the Run Workflow button.

  3. Review the information in the approval workflow and click the button appropriate to your response.
