Access Requests

EmpowerID provides an application called the "IAM Shop," where you can request access to any IT resources your organization has made available to you. To do this, simply visit the IAM Shop, browse for the desired resources, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout. EmpowerID will alert each individual capable of approving your request upon checking out. Based on their response, you will either gain or be denied access to the requested resources.

This section covers topics that help you begin exploring resources in the IAM Shop and demonstrates how to monitor the progress of your requests through the My Tasks application. Moreover, if you are a resource owner or someone with delegated authority to manage access, these topics will guide you on how to handle other people's requests as well as regulate the access others have to your resources.
