As an Identity Management platform, EmpowerID provides rich application integration capabilities in support of all major federated identity standards in use today. This allows your organization to provide Single Sign On from EmpowerID to any third-party applications it may use, such as Amazon Web Services, Salesforce.com, and Google Apps.  Additionally, EmpowerID provides over 24 multi-factor authentication options to ensure that every user can perform strong authentication with minimal hassle even from their mobile devices. Multi-factor authentication can be used for all types of authentication, including Web SSO, LDAP, and RADIUS.

In EmpowerID, Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a flexible, configurable points-based system that lets you define trust points for objects in EmpowerID and provide a target point number required to authenticate to EmpowerID, and to access any third-party applications secured by EmpowerID.
