How to uninstall AD Self-Service Suite 3.5 - 3.7
Verifying AD Self-Service Suite 3.5 - 3.7 is installed:
OpenÂ
AD Self-Service Configuration from the Start Menu and click on the Administration Console tab on the left hand side. Click on the AD Self-Service Admin link that appears.
Once the AD Self-Service Suite Admin has loaded, under theÂ
About AD Self-Service section on the right hand side, confirm the Version number equals or is between 3.5.0.0 and 3.7.0.1.
Uninstalling and removing AD Self-Service Suite 3.5 - 3.7:
OpenÂ
AD Self-Service Configuration from the Start Menu and click on the Admin Web Site tab on the left hand side. You will see a list of Sites from Internet Information Services (IIS). For each of these sites, uncheck the Web column if it is currently checked and then click Save.
Click on theÂ
AD WhitePages tab on the left hand side. You will see a list of Sites from Internet Information Services (IIS). For each of these sites, uncheck the Web column if it is currently checked and then click Save.
Click on theÂ
AD Info tab on the left hand side. You will see a list of Sites from Internet Information Services (IIS). For each of these sites, uncheck the Web column if it is currently checked and then click Save.
Click on theÂ
AD Password tab on the left hand side. You will see a list of Sites from Internet Information Services (IIS). For each of these sites, uncheck the Web, Recovery Center, Gina, and Help Desk Recovery columns if they are currently checked and then click Save.
Click on theÂ
WebParts tab on the left hand side. Uncheck the Install AD Self-Service WebParts if it is currently checked and then click Save.
Open theÂ
Control Panel and navigate to Programs and Features. Click on AD Self-Service Suite and then click Uninstall.
OpenÂ
Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. In the Connections pane on the left hand side, expand the Server node and click on Application Pools. In the Application Pools pane, right click the ADSelfService application pool and click Remove.
Open Windows Explorer and delete the following directory:
X:\Program Files\The Dot Net Factory
NOTE:Â If you have installed AD Self-Service Suite on a 64-bit operating system, replace any instance of
X:\Program Files
with
X:\Program Files (x86)
Replace X:\ with the drive letter where AD Self-Service Suite is installed.
Repeat Steps 1-8 on any other AD Self-Service Suite servers you have installed. This includes SharePoint web servers that use the AD Self-Service Suite web parts.
