Things to Do

The Things To Do feature allows you to access commonly used services for a Person from Chatbot. You can request access or run the self-service workflows using the Things to Do option. Please follow the instructions below to use the Things to Do feature in the Chatbot.

Supported Commands: The Chatbot can understand texts and sentences like create shared credential, self service bot and will start the Things to DO workflow. Please find information about the supported commands here in the docs Chatbot Commands .

  1. Type help in the Bot to bring the options menu.

  2. Click on the Things to Do button.

     

  3. Please select the action among the given options you wish to perform.

    1. If you need access to resources you currently do not have, click on the Request Acess button.

    2. Self-Service allows end-users an easy-to-follow process for requesting access to IT resources. Please click on Self-Service to run the workflows.

       

  4. You will be asked for additional options based on your earlier action.

    1. If you click on Request Access, you can choose to manage either Group or Management Roles & Definitions.

    2. If you chose the Self Service option, you would be able to run multiple workflows that you are authorized to access.


      Change Password- Follow the instructions here to run this workflow to change your password by providing the current password from the Bot.
      Create a new Person- You can create a person using the EmpowerID Bot following the steps here.
      Create Shared Credential- Please follow the instructions here to create a shared credential.
      Create Vault Secret- This doc will explore how to create and view the three different types of secrets that users can vault.
      Helpdesk unlock a locked-out user - You can easily unlock that person's account from Chatbot following the procedure in the docs.
      Request for an app role or a management Role- Follow the instructions here to request the app and management roles at your fingertips effortlessly.
