Create Local Functions
Local Functions in EmpowerID are specific actions linked to broader Global Functions, tailored to fit the unique entities, systems, and locations of an organization. For example, "Create Azure Groups in Tenant X" could be a Local Function associated with a "Create Azure Groups" Global Function.
Procedure
On the navbar, expand Compliance and click Risk Management.
This directs you to the Risk Management page.On the Risk Management page, locate and select the Global Functions tab.
Search for the global function to which you want to add a local function
Click the Name link for the desired global function.
This opens the View One page, where you can view and manage the selected function.On the View One page, select the Who Has Function tab.
Expand the Local Functions accordion.
Click the Add Local Function [+] button.
This action opens the “Create Local Function” form.Enter the following information the form:
Field | Input / Action Required |

Name | Enter a name that represents the task in your business process. |
Display Name | Enter a user-friendly display name for the function. |
Description | Provide a brief characterization of the function. |
Location | Use the "Select a Location" link to search for and select a creation location for the function. |
Locale Key (Unique Name) | (Optional) Enter a locale key for creating a localized entry for the function. |
Locale Key for Description | (Optional) If creating a localized entry, provide a description for the locale key. |
Is Enabled | Toggle to specify whether the function is enabled for processing. |
Click Save to create the local function.
