Access Self-Service - Delivering Compliant Access
Overview
This course provides an introduction to the “self-service access request” feature of EmpowerID and how you can use it to give end-users a pleasant and easy-to-follow process for requesting access to IT resources while ensuring those requests adhere to compliant access directives. The course explains the concepts of eligibility and approval flow policies and introduces you to the IT Shop, My Tasks and My Identity applications. The content of the course incudes reading materials, video presentations, and an exercise that you can use to implement what you learn in the course.
Objective
When you finish this course, you’ll be able to describe EmpowerID’s “Access Self-Service” feature, understand each component that makes it up, and demonstrate an ability to design a self-service access request model that delivers compliant access.
Audience
This course is intended for administrators responsible for implementing and configuring policies that determine who can request access to resources and the type of approvals needed for those requests to be fulfilled by EmpowerID.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that users complete the EmpowerID IGA Core course before starting this course.
