Hardware Requirements and Sizing
To get the most out of your EmpowerID deployment, the below hardware requirements must be met. The hardware requirements listed below for each server are the minimum. Additionally, it is recommended to have at least one separate, dedicated server for the Web Front-End (hosts server web services) and one for the Application server (host back-end processes). For customers running EmpowerID Cloud SaaS, at least two Cloud Gateways are required for minimal fault tolerance.

Hard Drive Space | Each SQL server should follow Microsoft’s best practice design, utilizing different disk spindles for OS, Logs, Data, and backups. At a minimum, EmpowerID needs the log drive and data drive to have the below available space. Depending on the number of objects in your environment, disk space needs may be significantly higher.
