Building No Code Flows

EmpowerID's No Code Flows feature offers organizations a streamlined solution to automate recurring processes without the need for coding skills. Within EmpowerID, predefined No Code Flows are available, each tailored to address common organizational scenarios. However, should your organization require specific flows not included in the predefined collection, you have the ability to create custom No Code Flows to meet those particular needs.

This section provides tutorials to get you started with creating your own No Code Flows. These articles will walk you through the process of assembling the necessary components within a No Code Flow, ensuring that the desired outcome triggers the corresponding sequence of actions. Using employee off-boarding as an example, these actions could include disabling accounts, removing individuals from organizational groups, archiving emails, revoking access to company resources, and finally terminating their EmpowerID Person object within a specified timeframe.

While these articles focus on employee off-boarding, the knowledge and techniques conveyed can be applied to create other No Code Flows that may be more relevant to your specific organizational requirements.

Before beginning, familiarize yourself with the key components of No Code Flows:

  • Flow Events: Triggers that initiate a sequence of actions.

  • Flow Definitions & Flow Items: Sets of instructions that define the sequence of actions to be taken.

  • Flow Policies: Rules that connect specific Flow Events to automated responses via Flow Definitions.
