Adding Users to Groups with the CRUD Runner

Administrators can use the CRUD Runner to add users to groups, ensuring they have the necessary access based on their role within the organization. This process helps maintain proper security controls and access management across the organization.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the endpoint configured for the CRUD Runner.

  2. If you are not authenticated, you will be directed to Keycloak.

  3. Enter your credentials in Keycloak and sign in.

    After authenticating, you are directed to the CRUD Runner.

  4. Under Pages, search for OCG - OpendLDAP and click the tile for that page.

    This opens the page for managing OpenLDAP users and groups in your organization. You can create, modify, or delete user accounts and manage their authentication credentials and group memberships from this page.

  5. Search for the target user and click their record to enable the contextual actions.

  6. Click the Add User To Group action.

    This opens the OCG - OpenLDAP Add User To Group (Users) form.

  7. Search for the target group and then click the group record to select it.

  8. Click Submit.

    You should see a message stating that the workflow was completed successfully.
