In EmpowerID, the 'Person' is the foundational identity object that consolidates various user-related elements, such as user accounts, permission assignments, audit history, and management policies. For a user to access EmpowerID, they must have an EmpowerID Person identity. When inventory is enabled for an account store, and Person Provisioning is activated, EmpowerID automatically creates a Person identity for each new user account detected in that account store. It's important to note that the existence of a Person in EmpowerID does not depend on having an external user account. New Person identities can be established at any time for new users, ensuring that every individual interacting with the system has a unified identity encompassing all their related information and access rights.
