View the status of your requests

When you submit requests for resources that route for approval, you can view the status of those requests in My Tasks.

View status

  1. Navigate to the My Tasks App portal for your organization.

  2. Select My Requests and search for the request you want to view.

  3. Click Pending Item (or Pending).


    This opens the Request card for your request. This card contains several tabs with categorized information about your request.
    Overview Tab
    The Overview tab opens by default. This tab contains general information about the request and provides access for adding comments or canceling the request if needed.


    Process Steps tab
    The Process Steps tab allows you to view where your request is in the approval process and how many approvals are needed before you are granted access to the requested resource(s). In the below image, two approvals are needed: The first from the role owner and the second from the risk owner.


    To view who can approve your, click Show Approvers. To hide visible approvers, click Hide Approvers.


    Delegations tab
    The Delegations tab shows whether your request has been delegated by the approver to another person. If there are one or more delegations, they appear here.


    To view the details about a delegation, click the expand button.


    Risk Violations (Risks) tab
    The Risk Violations (Risks) tab only appears when your request involves accessing one or more resources deemed risky by your organization. From the tab, we can see that the type of violation is a Segregation of Duties violation.


    To view more details about why your request is a risk violation, click More Details and then Show More. From the below image, we can see the risk violation occurs because the user currently belongs to a Management Role (highlighted by the Orange text) that should not be combined with membership in the requested role (highlighted by the green text).


    To view more details about the specifics of the risk violation, such as the specific risk that triggered violation, click Show More.
