When altering a stock workflow, it’s a \\r\\n best practice to make a copy of the workflow and save it to the workflow customizations\\r\\n folder. This allows you to plug the custom workflow into the UI without needing to update the \\r\\n links to that workflow. Additionally, this keeps upgrades from overwriting customized workflows.

When developing your own workflows, it is recommended that you prefix the workflow\\r\\n with one or more initials identifying your organization. \\r\\n

To create computers, users need to have one of the following Management Roles, \\r\\n depending on the needed scope:

ACT-Computer-Object-Administrator-All – Grants access to \\r\\n create, edit, and delete computer objects in any location within the system.
ACT-Computer-Object-Administrator-MyOrg – Grants access to \\r\\n create, edit, and delete computer objects in the person's organization only.
ACT-Computer-Object-Administrator-MyLocations – Grants access to \\r\\n create, edit, and delete computer objects in the person's locations only.

EmpowerID grants the person who creates \\r\\n a new resource All Access to the resource \\r\\n for a period of two hoursto allow the creator to modify the resource as needed.

It's important to note that you cannot use the Global search to find \\r\\n Business Role and Location (BRL) combinations. Instead, follow these steps \\r\\n to navigate to the View One page for a BRL:

On the navbar, expand Role Management and click \\r\\n Business Roles and Locations.
Select the Allowed Combinations tab and then search for the \\r\\n Business Role and Location combination you want to configure eligibility for.
Click the Business Role and Location link for the desired combination.

Your browser will be directed to the View One page for the selected BRL, \\r\\n where you can view or modify its settings as needed.

EmpowerID includes two Dictionary Word Sets, each with its own collection of \\r\\n blocked words.
