Create and Configure Access Request Policy

To create an Access Request policy for the Approval Flow Policy, do the following:

  1. On the navbar of the EmpowerID Web interface, expand IT Shop and click Access Request Policies

  2. Click the Add button.

     

  3. Enter the following information in the form that appears:

    • Name – Name for the Access Request policy

    • Display Name – Display Name for the Access Request

    • Approval Flow Policy – Select the Approval Flow policy you created earlier

  4. Leave the other fields on the form as is and click Save.

     

  5. Back on the Find Access Request Policies page, search for the policy you just created and click the Access Request Policy link for it.

     

  6. Expand the Resources Managed By Policy Accordion and click the Add button.

     

  7. For Resource Type, select the desired type, such as Group (Security).

  8. Search for the specific resource belonging to the type and check the box for the resource to select it.

     

  9. Click Save and then click Submit.
