Activate Group or Management Role

EmpowerID Bot enables you to request the app and management roles at your fingertips effortlessly. The roles you can request are Pre-approved Roles, i.e., they don't need approval from anyone for you to be a member. Please follow the following steps to request a role using the Chatbot.

Supported Commands: The Chatbot can understand texts and sentences like preapproved roles, request saasadmin, and will start the request of app and management roles. Please find information about the supported commands here in the docs .

  1. Type help in the Bot to bring the options menu.

  2. Click on the Activate a pre-approved group or management role button.

     

     

  3. Click on either the group or management role you wish to activate.

     

     

  4. You can directly type the role's name or type all to list all available roles. Select the role from the list and click on OK.


     

     

  5. You should see a similar message providing you with a link to View Status. Clicking on the Check Status button will open the approval details in the IT shop interface.
